Cosmo Jarvis Drops Out Of “The Odyssey”

FX

Following his breakout turn in “Shōgun” and following it up with “Warfare” earlier this year, rising star Cosmo Jarvis sadly has had to drop out of a key role.

The actor was set to join the large ensemble of Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” which is in its final weeks of filming.

Now though, Jarvis has had to drop out shortly before filming due to a scheduling conflict. The actor is readying to star in the feature biopic “Young Stalin” about the Russian dictator.

“Prometheus” and “Upgrade” star Logan Marshall-Green has reportedly stepped in to replace him in his role, though details of the specific part are under wraps.

What is known is that Theron is about to begin shooting her two weeks or so of scenes, the actress believed to be playing sorceress Circe in the Nolan film.

The project has been shooting in Morocco, Greece, Italy, Ireland and Scotland along with some shooting in Los Angeles. Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson and Anne Hathaway lead the all-star cast.

“The Odyssey” is currently set for a release July 17th 2026.
