The title of “007: First Light” has been announced by IO Interactive for its upcoming video game based on the James Bond franchise.
The game has been developed and published by the company famous for its acclaimed “Hitman” video games, most notably its “Hitman: World of Assassination” trilogy that ran from 2016-2021.
Marking their first project since “Hitman 3” ended, the new title boasts a wholly original Bond origin story. Players will step into the shoes of the world’s favorite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status.
At present, the only confirmed platform is the Nintendo Switch 2 but others are expected to be announced shortly.
Along with the title today, it has been revealed that plenty more details and a first look at footage from the title will take place later this week.
Much like with “Hitman,” they have ambitious plans for the game – dubbing it as a title to “start a new era for James Bond in video game”.
