Cox Doesn’t Know His “Daredevil” Film Future

With filming on the second season of “Daredevil: Born Again” continuing, actor Charlie Cox took a brief break from filming to participate in an interview with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation.

The actor says he’s still very much in the dark about the character’s future, especially when it comes to the possibility of his participation in a movie, be it a solo film or as part of an ensemble:

“I’m the worst person to ask. I have no idea. I don’t know, you have to ask the grown-ups. I don’t know anything. And I like not knowing anything, you know?”

Cox knows fans can flex a lot of power with these things and could have an impact on that front, whatever the case he’s grateful for where he is:

“The only thing I’ll say is I’m just such a happy camper. I’m so thrilled to be here. I love that I get to tell the story in long-form. Also, because I’m part of the show, like you guys just had the experience, every season, we get to see the first two episodes on the big screen.

So I get that experience. It is a shame because, particularly with the pilot, it’s such a cinematic episode. It feels like it deserves to be seen on the big screen. But, I don’t know. Just write letters, everyone just write letters.”

The interview follows on from Krysten Ritter being spotted in character as Jessica Jones on the set, and confirmation of Mike Colter and Finn Jones being in New York presently which has fans speculating over their returns as well.

The series launched with 7.5 million views on Disney+ in its first five days of availability – the biggest streaming debut on the platform this year. However the series failed to crack the Nielsen weekly streaming charts across any episodes of its entire season.
