Jason Momoa, wrestler Roman Reigns, Andrew Koji (“Warrior”) and Noah Centineo (“Warfare”) are all reportedly in talks to star in the new live-action “Street Fighter” film at Sony Pictures.

Both Koji and Centineo were previously rumored for the project in the roles of Ryu & Ken respectively, now it seems more official with multiple trades confirming all these actors are circling the project.

Reigns is rumored for Akuma, while Momoa’s part isn’t known but is expected to be Blanka as it’s one of Momoa’s favorite characters.

“Talk to Me” directors Danny and Michael Philippou dropped out of the new “Street Fighter” in February while filmmaker Kitao Sakurai (“Twisted Metal,” “The Eric Andre Show”) has taken over.

Capcom is reportedly heavily involved in the new take on a franchise which began life as a 1987 arcade game but took off in 1991 with the release of “Street Fighter II” becoming a pop culture event.

Multiple sequels followed, and the infamous film adaptation in 1994 with Jean-Claude Van Damme, Raul Julia, Kylie Minogue and Ming-Na Wen. A second and lower-budgeted film adaptation in 2009 followed.

No word on the story for the new incarnation or potential production dates for the film.
