The first photos are out of John Krasinski and Natalie Portman in Guy Ritchie’s new action-adventure movie “Fountain of Youth” which hails from Apple Original Films, Skydance Media, Vinson Films and Project X Entertainment.
James Vanderbilt penned the film which follows two estranged siblings (Krasinski and Portman) who partner on a global heist to find the mythological Fountain of Youth.
They must use their knowledge of history to follow clues on an epic adventure that will change their lives – and possibly lead to immortality.
Ritchie calls it in the vein of a “contemporary Indiana Jones” with Krasinski trying to do a Nathan Drake-style vibe in these first photos.
Strike-related delays and windowing opened the door for Portman to score the female lead role in the project which also stars Domhnall Gleeson, Eiza González, Stanley Tucci, Laz Alonso, Arian Moayed, and others.
Shot on location in Vienna, Bangkok and Egypt, “Fountain of Youth” premieres on the Apple TV+ streamer sometime in 2025.
