Netflix has reportedly been hit with one of the worst cases of anime episode leaks ever according to AnimeNewsNetwork (via Slashfilm).
Whole episodes of series have reportedly become illicitly available online ahead of their Fall releases, most notably all eight episodes of the upcoming “Terminator Zero” anime.
Also leaking early are the first four episodes of “Ranma ½,” the first six episodes of “Dandadan,” and the movie “Mononoke the Movie: Phantom in the Rain”.
Netflix isn’t the only anime streamer to experience such leaks either within the last 24 hours as the premiere of the third season of isekai anime “Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-” is also out – that one reportedly appears to have been sourced from France’s Japan Expo going by its watermark.
The anime industry has suffered numerous leaks in recent times, but very rarely an entire season let alone several series.
Most of these exclusive anime were primed to have world premiere screenings in the coming months ahead of their release dates with “Ranma ½” set to screen its premiere episode at Anime NYC on August 24th.
The eight episodes of “Terminator Zero” are scheduled to premiere on the streamer on August 29th and for now that hasn’t changed.
