Anyone But You
The Glenn Powell and Sydney Sweeney-led R-rated romantic comedy “Anyone But You” has been delayed by a week, the film pushed back from December 15th to December 22nd to take advantage of the Christmas four-day weekend.
The pair play two people find themselves unexpectedly thrust together at a destination wedding in Australia and have to pretend to be a couple. Will Gluck (“Easy A”) directs the film which also stars Alexandra Shipp, Michelle Hurd, Dermot Mulroney and Rachel Griffiths. A partial trailer for the film leaked online yesterday. Seinfeld
Julia Louis-Dreyfus has responded to recent rumors, suggested by Jerry Seinfeld himself, that a “Seinfeld” reunion could be in the works. She responded: “Yeah, I just saw [that news] last night and I don’t know what the hell he’s talking about.”
The comedian teased to a crowd last week that “something is going to happen” related to the original show’s ending but it’s a secret. He added: “just what you are thinking about, Larry [David] and I have also been thinking about, so you’ll see.” [Source: The Guardian]
Grimsburg
FOX has announced a Sunday January 7th premiere date for its animated detective series “Grimsburg”. Jon Hamm voices Marvin Flute, who may be the greatest detective ever to catch a cannibal clown and correctly identify a mid-century modern armoire. But there’s one mystery he still can’t crack – himself.
To do that, he must return to Grimsburg, a town where everyone has a secret, and redeem himself in the eyes of his fellow detectives, his ferocious ex-wife, and his lovably unstable son. Erinn Hayes, Rachel Dratch, Alan Tudyk, Kevin Michael Richardson and Greg Chun also star. [Source: TV Line]
Napoleon
Sony Pictures has released the first clip from Ridley Scott’s historical epic “Napoleon” ahead of that film’s release in cinemas on November 22nd. The clip sees Joaquin Phoenix’s Napoleon undergoing his coronation as Emperor of France in the Notre Dame Cathedral, alongside Vanessa Kirby’s Empress Josephine.
