AMC has unveiled a new teaser trailer for “The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live,” the upcoming spin-off series that features the return of Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira as Rick and Michonne.
The clip premiered as part of a New York Comic-Con presentation today where several other cast members have been confirmed. They include Pollyanna McIntosh as Jadis, Terry O’Quinn as Beale, and Matt Jeffries as Matt. They join the previously announced Lesley-Ann Brandt as Pearl.
The epic love story follows two characters changed by a changed world. Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead…and ultimately, a war against the living.
Can they find each other and who they were in a place and situation unlike any they’ve ever known before? Are they enemies? Lovers? Victims? Victors? Without each other, are they even alive — or will they find that they, too, are the Walking Dead?
Scott M. Gimple serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Lincoln, Gurira, Denise Huth and Brian Bockrath.
“The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live” is set to premiere in February on AMC and the AMC+ service.
