Peacock has premiered the official trailer for “Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain” – a new comedy-adventure feature.
The film stars Martin Herlihy, John Higgins, and Ben Marshall – the trio known as Please Don’t Destroy who succeeded The Lonely Island as producers of Saturday Night Live’s digital shorts over the past few years.
The project, which was originally planned for an August 18th theatrical release by Universal Pictures, centers on three childhood friends who live and work together and question where their lives are headed – if anywhere at all.
Ill-equipped and out of their element, they set off to find a lost treasure rumored to be buried in their local mountains. Fending off hairless bears, desperate park rangers and a hypocritical cult leader, it turns out finding said treasure may be the easiest part.
Paul Briganti directs, and Judd Apatow produces the film, which also stars Conan O’Brien, Bowen Yang, Meg Stalter, X Mayo, Nichole Sakura, Cedric Yarbrough, and Sunita Mani.
“Please Don’t Destroy: The Legend Of Foggy Mountain” premieres exclusively on Peacock on November 17th.
