“Clue,” “Ring,” “JFK,” “Point Break” Hit 4K

Scream Factory and Shout Factory have announced several new high-profile classic titles will be coming to 4K UHD this December.

Most exciting is “Clue,” the 1985 murder mystery comedy based on the board game and starring a boatload of comedy legends from Madeline Kahn and Christopher Lloyd to Tim Curry and Lesley Ann Warren. That will arrive on December 12th.

Another exciting release is Kathryn Bigelow’s iconic cop goes undercover with surfers action film “Point Break” starring Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves. That will release on December 5th.

Then there’s Oliver Stone’s masterfully edited conspiracy drama “JFK” which will make the jump to 4K disc on December 19th.

Next, a December 12th release date has been set for the 4K UHD release of Gore Verbinski’s 2002 supernatural horror feature “The Ring” which has been saddled with its lesser sequels “The Ring Two” and “Rings” in a box-set.

Also coming is one of the better Stephen King adaptations with “The Dead Zone” on December 19th, the Bruce Willis-led period action film “Last Man Standing” on December 26th, and the “Shaun the Sheep” film on December 12th.
