LEGO and Marvel have unveiled the teaser poster for the all-new special “LEGO Marvel Avengers: Code Red”. The special will be streaming exclusively on Disney+ on October 27th.
Marvel has yet to release any further details such as the film’s storyline or voice cast. It marks the latest in a string of Lego Marvel animated shorts.
It began a decade ago with the five-episode TV series “Lego Marvel Superheroes: Maximum Overload”.
Since then there’s been three standalone twenty-minute animated shorts – “Avengers Ressembled” in 2015, “Guardians of the Galaxy” in 2017 and “Black Panther – Trouble in Wakanda” in 2018. “Code Red” was first teased at Comic Con back in July.
All of the previous Marvel Lego shorts are currently available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. It’s expected this will be another 20-minute short, but that’s not confirmed.
It marks one of three upcoming Marvel projects due before year’s end – the other being the second season of “Loki” next month and “The Marvels” film in November. Other works like “What If?” S2, “Echo” and “X-Men 97” were pushed to 2024.
