Netflix has premiered the trailer for the seven-episode second season (or rather ‘third part’) of its gentleman thief series “Lupin” which returns on Friday, October 5th on Netflix with seven all-new episodes.
Assane Diop is now in hiding and must learn to live far from his wife and son Claire and Raoul. Due to the suffering he has shouldered on them, Assane can’t stand it any longer and decides to return to Paris.
There he makes a proposal: leave France and start a new life elsewhere. But the ghosts of his past aren’t far away, and an unexpected return will shatter all his plans.
In the trailer, Assane sets out to steal the Black Pearl and this time, he’s letting the public in on his robbery. The new run follows more than two years since Netflix aired ‘Part 2’ back in mid-2021.
Lupin remains one of the most successful Netflix series in a language other than English with the first part pulling in 99.5 million completed viewings and the second 68.4 million.
In addition it has scored strongly positive reviews throughout its run.
