Though production on Marvel Studios’ “Daredevil: Born Again” has been on hold due to the Hollywood strikes, the show’s stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio turned up at GalaxyCon Austin over the weekend.
The pair appeared in a live Q&A and autograph signing alongside their old co-worker and “Jessica Jones” star Krysten Ritter with the trio reuniting for a fun photo you can see below.
Ritter is rumored to be reprising her Jessica Jones role for a short appearance in the new “Daredevil” series, but that’s only rumor and there has been no official word about her future as the character.
Ritter said back in April on Michael Rosenbaum’s podcast she hadn’t heard anything about a potential return to the role but added: “I would be there in a second. I would have my boots and jacket ready to rock.”
The new “Daredevil” series is being written and executive produced by Matt Corman and Chris Ord who cannot provide writing services on set due to the strike.
It sees Charlie Cox back as Daredevil alongside Vincent D’Onofrio as mob boss Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin. Other cast includes Margarita Levieva, Sandrine Holt, Michael Gandolfini, Arty Froushan and Nikki M. James along with Jon Bernthal reprising his role as The Punisher.
