Mark Ruffalo, Lili Reinhart (“Riverdale”) and actor/filmmaker Cooper Raiff are set to star in the independently-made comedic family drama television series “Hal & Harper” which hails from Raiff (“Cha Cha Real Smooth”).
Addison Timlin and Havana Rose Liu have also reportedly been cast in the show, which landed a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement several weeks ago.
On Monday, the guild altered its interim agreement policy to exclude WGA-covered projects shot in the United States.
Whilst there’s no official synopsis at this time, Raiff previously teased what the project could be about a few years ago – indicating it follows two siblings and a single dad who is making them grow up too fast — so fast that the 7 and 9-year-old characters are played by adult actors.
Ergo, Reinhart and Raiff are believed to be playing the siblings and Ruffalo is the father. Raiff and Clementine Quittner are producing.
Raiff’s “Cha Cha Real Smooth” won the Audience Award at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival and was picked up by the Apple TV+ service.
