FXX has premiered the trailer for the fourteenth and final season of the long-running, Emmy Award-winning adult animated spy comedy series “Archer”.
The long-running series follows the workplace members of a dysfunctional intelligence agency in a Cold War-esque yet contemporary universe – allowing it to parody espionage, culture and society.
In the new run, Archer and The Agency are finding their own way with Lana at the helm. Her goal is to make money while also making the world a better place. However, she quickly finds out running a spy agency isn’t so cut and dry.
Created by Adam Reed, the series features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin, Aisha Tyler, Judy Greer, Chris Parnell, Amber Nash, Reed and Lucky Yates (the late Jessica Walter starred in the first twelve seasons).
The final run of episodes will commence with a double episode launching 10pm on August 30th on FXX before weekly episodes roll out after that.
Episodes will be available the following day on Hulu. Production on the series managed to get what was needed done before the strikes began.
