Marvel has unveiled the poster for the second season of its “Loki” series ahead of the show’s return on Disney+ on October 6th.
Tweeted with the caption T-minus 100,000 minutes until Loki Season 2, the poster shows multiple iterations of the character running around a stopwatch that has Miss Minutes’ face.
“Loki” remains the most viewed of the various Marvel Studios shows, and one of its best received. After the lackluster performance of “Secret Invasion,” the studio hopes this more familiar property will hopefully draw the praise (and eyeballs) of its first season.
The new season sees the return of Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, Owen Wilson as Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Judge Renslayer, and Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15.
In addition Ke Huy Quan, Rafael Casal and Kate Dickie are also set to appear, whilst Jonathan Majors’ will appear in multiple episodes as Kang variants.
The new season also hails from head writer and executive producer Eric Martin and is directed by “Moon Knight” helmers Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.
They replace head writer Michael Waldron and director Kate Herron from the first season, both still remain on the second season as producers.
