Quiz Lady
20th Century Studios has announced a November 3rd premiere date on Hulu domestically and Disney+ with Star internationally for the Jessica Yu-directed film comedy “Quiz Lady” starring Awkwafina and Sandra Oh.
The film deals with a dysfunctional family, including a tightly wound young woman and her train wreck of a sister, and the game show, which just might be the key to their salvation. Jason Schwartzman, Holland Taylor, Tony Hale and Will Ferrell co-star. [Source: Hulu]
Only Murders in the Building
It’s confirmed that Nathan Lane will not reprise his Emmy-winning role as Teddy Dimas in the third season of Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building”.
Due to a scheduling conflict, the actor will not be able to reprise his role this time. The popular series returns to Hulu on August 8th. [Source: Deadline]
Lionsgate
Lionsgate has disclosed the public filing of a Form 10 registration statement with the U.S. SEC around its planned separation into two independent, publicly traded companies – the Lionsgate said Film & TV production groups being one, and premium cabler Starz being the other.
The proposed separation transaction remains subject to final approval by the board of directors, shareholders and government regulators. [Source: THR]

Netflix has released the trailer for the second part of the second season of its original series, “The Lincoln Lawyer,” based on the books by Michael Connelly. This back half of the season debuts on the streaming platform on August 3rd.
