The Television Critics Association’s annual awards are moving forward, even with its Summer 2023 press tour cancelled due to the ongoing writer’s strike.
The final season of “Succession” has been joined by the first seasons of “The Last of Us” and “The Bear” as the most-nominated projects, with each up for five awards among fourteen total categories.
Other notable inclusions this year with nominations are “Abbott Elementary,” “Andor,” “Barry,” “Beef,” “Better Call Saul,” “Bluey,” “The Good Fight,” “Interview with the Vampire,” “Jury Duty,” “Love, Victor,” “Mrs. Davis,” “Ms. Marvel,” “The Other Two,” “Poker Face,” “Reservation Dogs,” “Shrinking,” “What We Do in the Shadows,” “The White Lotus” and “Yellowjackets”.
A previous award dedicated to ‘youth programming’ has been replaced with two awards now – children’s and family programming.
