The fourth season of Max’s acclaimed DC animated series “Harley Quinn” has been set for a July 27th premiere.
The release pattern for the fourth season was not made available. The first two seasons consisted of thirteen episodes and were released in the form of weekly instalments between November 2019 and June 2020.
The third season saw the first three episodes premiere simultaneously, with the remainder of its ten-episode run coming weekly between July and September last year. A special one-off then aired this past February.
The third season closed with Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) set to lead the Legion of Doom for Lex Luthor (Giancarlo Esposito) while Harley (Kaley Cuoco) teamed up with the Bat-Family now being run by Batgirl (Briana Cuoco) following Bruce Wayne (Diedrich Bader) being imprisoned for tax evasion.
Former co-showrunner Justin Halpern told the outlet that having a Millennial Harley and a Gen Z Batgirl allowed them to have fun showing off how they interact and work together.
The release date reveal comes as the spinoff “Kite Man: Hell Yeah! (formerly Noonan’s),” featuring Kite Man and his current girlfriend Golden Glider, is in development for the streamer.
