Cattleya (“Gomorrah”) is producing the series which was created and filmed in Italy and wrapped production earlier this year. Story details are being kept under wraps.

Gina Gardini (“ZeroZeroZero”) serves as showrunner and executive produces with Riccardo Tozzi, Marco Chimenz, Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Mike Larocca, Angela Russo-Ostot, Scott Nemes, and David Weil.

Arnaldo Catinari (“Suburra: Blood on Rome”) directs the series, which was developed by the show’s head writer Alessandro Fabbri (“1992”). Ilaria Bernardini, Laura Colella, Gianluca Bernardini, and Giordana Mari also wrote on the show.

The first season of “Citadel” is now available in full on Amazon Prime, with “Citadel: Diana” coming in 2024.
