A couple of TV trailers released today are worth a look.
Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for the mystery thriller drama series “City on Fire” which hails from “Gossip Girl” creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.
An NYU student is shot in Central Park on July 4th 2003 – she was alone – with no witnesses and very little physical evidence.
She’s soon revealed to be the crucial connection between a series of mysterious citywide fires, the downtown music scene, and an imploding wealthy uptown real estate family.
Soon police and the people close to her are running their own separate investigations to find out who are the ones responsible for the unfortunate incident.
Wyatt Oleff, Chase Sui Wonders, Jemima Kirke, Nico Tortorella, Ashley Zukerman, Xavier Clyde, Max Milner, Alexandra Doke, Omid Abtahi, Kathleen Munroe, John Cameron Mitchell, Geoff Pierson, and Beth Malone star.
The series will be available for streaming on May 12th, with the first three episodes followed by weekly episodes through June 16th.
Finally, the official trailer for the second season of “Sweet Tooth” has been released and comes ahead of the series returning to Netflix later this month next week on April 27th.
In the new season, a deadly new wave of the Sick bears down as Gus (Christian Convery) and a band of fellow hybrids are held prisoner by General Abbot (Neil Sandilands) and the Last Men.
Looking to consolidate power by finding a cure, Abbot uses the children for experiments of captive Dr. Aditya Singh (Adeel Akhtar), who is racing to save his infected wife Rani (Aliza Vellani).
To protect his friends, Gus agrees to help Dr. Singh, beginning a dark journey into his origins and his mother Birdie’s (Amy Seimetz) role in the events leading up to The Great Crumble.
Outside the Preserve, Tommy Jepperd (Nonso Anozie) and Aimee Eden (Dania Ramirez ) team up to free the hybrids, a partnership that will be tested as Jepperd’s secrets come to light.
Gus and his found family soon find themselves on a collision course with Abbot and the evil forces that look to wipe them out once and for all.
Finally, Apple TV+ has released the first teaser trailer for the second season of the docuseries “Prehistoric Planet” – a five-night event filled with adventure and more never-before-seen dinosaurs. The series returns on May 22nd.
The second season continues to bring Earth’s history to life like never before – presenting new dinosaurs like the Tarchia, one of the largest Ankylosauri, to returning fan-favorites like the Tyrannosaurus rex, and more.
