Warner Bros. Games has announced “Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions” – a fast-paced, competitive multiplayer game for PC and console platforms.

The title centers around the Wizarding World’s most iconic magical sport and is dubbed a “complete, standalone Quidditch experience” which “engages players in the sport of Quidditch and other broomstick adventures alongside friends”.

The project has been in development for several years at LA-based Unbroken Studios who is contributing to the console versions of Rocksteady’s upcoming “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League”

In addition, users can create and customise their own Quidditch players in a title that will require an internet connection – no matter if you’re playing solo or as a team online.

Warner will hold limited playtests for “Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions” from April 21st-22nd. A release date for the full version of the game has not been set.

The news follows in the wake of the astounding success of “Hogwarts Legacy” which has sold over 12 million copies and raked in $850 million in sales globally in the first two weeks of release.
