The next trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures’ “The Flash” is expected to debut online on April 25th, timed with the same day the film screens at the CinemaCon event in Las Vegas for exhibitors.
To promote it, a bunch of several-second promos for the film have popped up online showcasing various new shots from the film, including new looks and line deliveries from Michael Keaton reprising his Bruce Wayne/Batman role.
Other shots show off more of Sasha Callee’s Supergirl, Michael Shannon’s Zod and a look at a much more comic-esque version of the Speed Force than the previous Zack Snyder-directed films.
Worlds collide in “The Flash” when Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the events of the past.
But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod (Shannon) has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to.
That is unless Barry can coax a very different Batman (Keaton) out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for.
Ultimately, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?
The film also sees Ben Affleck’s return as a version of Bruce Wayne/Batman and co-stars Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdu, Kiersey Clemons, and Antje Traue.
“The Flash” will race into cinemas on June 16th.
