Davidson, Pesci In “Bupkis” Series Trailer

Peacock

Peacock has released the official trailer for Pete Davidson’s new comedy series “Bupkis” which is set to premiere on the service on May 4th.

The eight-episode series follows former SNL regular Davidson as he attempts to work through unique family dynamics and the complexities of fame in an effort to form meaningful relationships.

Dubbed a raw, semi-autobiographical series, it stars Davidson, Edie Falco, and Joe Pesci alongside a “star-studded supporting cast” in a show that “straddles reality and absurdity to best represent what it is to be Pete Davidson.”

It has essentially been described as Davidson trying to do his own “Curb Your Enthusiasm” albeit with more of a celebrity bent. The series marks an incredibly big get in Pesci doing only his second TV regular role.

The trailer sees Davidson dealing with a number of day-to-day issues along with showing off some guest stars with the list said to include Sebastian Stan, Steve Buscemi, John Mulaney, Charlie Day, Bobby Cannavale, Ray Romano, Jon Stewart, Simon Rex, Machine Gun Kelly and Al Gore.

Davidson, Judah Miller, and Dave Sirus co-wrote the series while Sirus, Miller, Lorne Michaels, Andrew Singer, and Erin David executive produce. Miller (“The King of Staten Island”) serves as showrunner, whilst Jason Orley serves as co-executive producer and director.
