Universal Pictures has released the first trailer and poster for the long in the works “The Last Voyage of the Demeter,” the promo will be attached to copies of “Renfield” opening tomorrow.

The film takes one of the most famous chapters of Bram Stoker’s novel “Dracula” and adapts it into its own feature story. It follows a 19th-century Russian merchant ship chartered to transport fifty unmarked wooden crates from Carpathia to London – contents unknown to the crew.

The cast includes Corey Hawkins, David Dastmalchian, Liam Cunningham, Aisling Franciosi, Jon Jon Briones, Stefan Kapicic, Nikolai Nikolaeff, Woody Norman, Martin Furulund, Chris Walley and 6’7 actor Javier Botet as Dracula.

Zak Olkewicz (“Fear Street”) penned the script for the project which hits cinemas on August 11th.
