Andrew Garfield, Oscar Isaac and Mia Goth are all in early talks to star in Guillermo del Toro’s new live-action “Frankenstein” film at Netflix.
del Toro is reportedly still working on the script and no formal offers have been given to any actors, but sources for Deadline indicate he has met with all three and each is likely to star – but no formal deals are in place as yet.
del Toro, who just won a best-animated film Oscar for his work on “Pinocchio,” will write and direct the film.
Del Toro has been developing the project for many years based on the iconic Mary Shelley story but it’s not clear who will be playing the Doctor or his creation.
