Paramount Pictures has premiered the first official one-sheet for its mega-budget juggernaut “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One”.
With this launch it likely means the second trailer for the film is not far behind. If so, a trailer release will be a full ten months since the first trailer premiered in May last year.
The action blockbuster serves as the seventh entry in that series and sees star Tom Cruise and filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie re-team for a third ‘Mission’ together following their success with the fifth film ‘Rogue Nation’ and sixth film ‘Fallout’.
The film is the first of a two-part story that is expected to cap off the franchise, and the subsequent eighth film, ‘Dead Reckoning Part Two’ is slated to arrive in June 2024. Specifics of the plot are under wraps, but it is promised to be an epic story that could swallow the rest of the franchise whole.
The film’s budget is therefore appropriately gargantuan and the production will cost $290 million to make. Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby, Henry Czerny, Shea Whigham, Pom Klementieff and Esai Morales star in “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” which is set to arrive in theaters on July 14th.
