IFC Films has released the teaser trailer for the Owen Wilson-led comedy “Paint” which features Wilson portraying a painter who bears a striking resemblance to iconic public television icon Bob Ross.
Wilson stars as Carl Nargle, Vermont’s #1 public television painter who is convinced he has it all: a signature perm, custom van, and fans hanging on his every stroke.
However, a younger, better artist comes along and steals everything (and everyone) Carl loves.
Michaela Watkins, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ciara Renee, Lusia Strus, Stephen Root, and Lucy Freyer co-star.
The 96-minute film has been written and directed by Brit McAdams and is currently slated to release in cinemas on April 28th.
