Apple TV+ has premiered the official trailer for its high-stakes, contemporary thriller series “Liaison” starring award winners Eva Green and Vincent Cassel.
The project marks Apple’s first French and English multilingual original series. Things begin when the UK is hit by increasingly serious cyberattacks, including one that deactivates the Thames barrier and causes unprecedented flooding in the capital.
Cassel and Green play agents and former lovers who must work together to combat the cyberattacks who plan an even more devastating attack. In the process, they’ll confront the buried secrets of their destructive relationship.
Stephen Hopkins (“24”) directs while Virginie Brac (“Spiral”) created and pens the series which also stars Peter Mullan (“Ozark”), Gerard Lanvin (“Call My Agent”), Daniel Francis (“Small Axe”), Bukky Bukray (“Rocks”) and Emmy winner Thierry Fremont (“Murder In Mind”).
Sarada McDermott, Justin Thomson, Stephen Hopkins and Ed Barlow also executive produce. “Liaison” will premiere from February 24th on Apple TV+
