Warner Bros. Pictures

Though the wrap party was held the other day, it appears Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune: Part Two” still had a few last shots to get and now lead star Timothee Chalamet has revealed that filming is indeed finished.

Just a few hours ago, Chalamet posted a photo of himself alongside his father as the pair stands against a backdrop of the desert with text that reads “DUNE 2 WRAPPED (with desert dad !!).”

Filming on the project began in July in Budapest, Hungary with shooting shifting to Abu Dhabi last month. Filming also took place in Italy in early July.

In the new film, Paul Atreides (Chalamet) unites with Chani (Zendaya) and the Fremen as he seeks revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.

Rebecca Ferguson, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgard, Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Lea Seydoux and Christopher Walken all-star in the film which adapts the second half of the famed Frank Herbert novel.

“Dune: Part Two” opens in cinemas on November 3rd 2023.
