A couple of key acquisitions today. Netflix has acquired Laura McGann’s documentary “The Deepest Breath” about the world of high-risk freediving. A24 is also partnered with the film, which will premiere at Sundance. [Source: Netflix]

Moving On
Roadside Attractions has acquired Paul Weitz’s comedy “Moving On” starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin as estranged friends who reunite to seek revenge on the petulant widower (Malcolm McDowell) of their recently deceased best friend. The Bee Gees Biopic
“Hustlers” helmer Lorene Scafaria is taking over from John Carney as director of Paramount’s Bee Gees biopic. John Logan penned the latest draft of the screenplay. Graham King, Elisabeth Murdoch, Stacey Snider, and Jane Featherstone are producing. [Source: Deadline]

A Radical Shift of Gravity
Matt Charman (“Bridge of Spies”) will pen a film adaptation of Nick Tapalansky and Kate Glasheen’s science-fiction graphic novel “A Radical Shift of Gravity” which follows one family’s struggle to stay grounded amid a massive planetary transformation. Dungeons and Dragons
Paramount Pictures has released a new poster for the “Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” film starring Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Rege-Jean Page, Justice Smith and Hugh Grant. The action fantasy feature hails from the directors of “Game Night” and opens in cinemas March 31st.
