Apple TV+ has revealed the trailer for the BBC and Apple Original Films short film adaptation of Charles Mackesy’s bestselling 2019 book “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse”.
It’s a story of kindness, friendship, courage and hope and tells the poignant and heartfelt journey that follows the unlikely friendship of a boy, a mole, a fox and a horse travelling together in the boy’s search for home.
Newcomer Jude Coward Nicoll voices the boy alongside acting veterans Tom Hollander as The Mole, Idris Elba as The Fox and Gabriel Byrne as The Horse.
Mackesy and Peter Baynton direct from a screenplay adapted by Jon Croker. J.J. Abrams produces and Woody Harrelson executive produces the short, which will be available for streaming on Apple TV+ from December 25th.
