Jason David Frank, who famously played Tommy Oliver/the Green and White Ranger in the “Power Rangers” franchise, has died.
The news was first announced by former fighter Mike Bronzoulis, who wrote on his Facebook page that he was ‘still in shock’ over the news.
A few hours later, Frank’s representative then confirmed to TMZ that the Power Rangers star had committed suicide.
Frank’s representative says: “Please respect the privacy of his family and friends during this horrible time as we come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful human being. He loved his family, friends, and fans very much. He will truly be missed.”
Frank was also a decorated martial artist and had an undefeated mixed martial arts record, having won one professional bout in 2010 and four amateur contests before that.
