“Spider-Man: Miles Morales” PC Launch Trailer

Sony Interactive Ent.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has premiered the launch trailer for “Spider-Man: Miles Morales” on PC, which was released today. The title arrives on PC two years after its release on PS5 and four months after “Spider-Man: Remastered” finally made its way to the PC.

Just like that title, the original Insomniac Games title has been ported by Nixxes Software and contains all the expected inclusions – improved shadows, improved ray-traced reflections, an unlocked frame rate, and both NVIDIA DLSS and DLAA support to boost performance and image quality respectively.

It will also boast an ultrawide monitor and multiple monitor support with aspect ratios including 16:9, 16:10, 21:9, 32:9, and 48:9.

While there will be mouse and keyboard support and customizable controls through Steam Input, users can plug in a DualSense controller and experience the pad’s adaptive triggers and haptic feedback – giving players a comparable experience to playing on the PS5.

Be advised though that through some testing by Digital Trends, the only issue with the port has been found in regards to the DLSS3 Frame Generation aspect (exclusive to the new RTX 4000 series cards) which makes the visuals of the game look worse.

It’s advised those on cards with DLSS3 capability to have DLSS Super Resolution on but turn DLSS Frame Generation off. All other cards are unaffected.

The two “Spider-Man” games join “God of War,” “Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection,” “Sackboy: A Big Adventure” as former PlayStation-exclusive titles that scored ports on PC this year alone. Ports of “Returnal” and “The Last of Us Part I” are on the way for unspecified dates at this time.
