Actor Ralph Fiennes has expressed his interest in reprising his role of “Harry Potter” franchise villain Voldemort again.
Speaking with Variety on the red carpet at the New York premiere of “The Menu,” Fiennes was asked if he would ever want to take on the role again if Warner Bros. Pictures or J.K. Rowling called him to join future “Harry Potter” projects.
He responded: “Sure, of course. No question about it.” Recently Warner Bros. Discovery chief David Zaslav mentioned the possibility of working with Rowling on more “Harry Potter” content of some kind.
Fiennes first appeared in the role in 2005’s “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” and continued in the part until his character’s death in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2”.
Last month, the actor defended Rowling against “verbal abuse” and death threats directed at her for her outspoken beliefs on gender identity.
“The Menu” meanwhile is released in cinemas on November 18th.
