“The Good Place” and “The Resort” alum William Jackson Harper has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The actor has been revealed to have taken on a top-secret role in the upcoming “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” according to Variety. The studio has declined to comment on his casting.
Fans are already speculating Harper will be lending his voice to the character of M.O.D.O.K., who is rumored to appear in the film.
Whatever the case, he joins cast that includes Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michelle Pfeiffer and Michael Douglas, reprising their roles from the previous movies. Joining them are Kathryn Newton as Scott’s now grown-up daughter Cassie Lang, and Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror.
Harper has quickly built a resume that also includes Amazon’s “The Underground Railroad” and “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” along with films like “Midsommar” and “Dark Waters”. He’ll soon be seen in David E. Kelley’s Netflix series “A Man in Full”.
“Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” is set to hit cinemas on February 17th 2023.
