HBO and BBC has renewed the series “Industry” for a third season, the order coming just over a month after the second season wrapped in mid-September.

The show focuses on the London office of a fictional international bank and follows a group of recent graduates and young bankers as they try to stay afloat in the ultra-competitive world of high finance. [Source: Variety]

Monster High
Nickelodeon and Mattel Television have handed out an order for a sequel to the live-action movie musical “Monster High The Movie” The feature-length TV movie will begin production in January in Vancouver ahead of a premiere on Nickelodeon and Paramount+ in 2023.

The first film, which premiered earlier this month, was the No. 1 kids and family movie on Paramount+ during its launch week and reached more than 4 million total viewers across its premiere weekend on linear. [Source: Deadline]

Desperation Road
Garrett Hedlund and Mel Gibson will lead Nadine Crocker’s thriller “Desperation Road” based on the novel by Michael Farris Smith.

The story follows ex-con Russell Gaines (Hedlund) who attempts to rebuild his life with help from his father Mitchell (Gibson). But when Maben arrives and throws Russell’s life into chaos, the pair end up on the lam. Ryan Hurst, Woody McClain and Pyper Braun also star. [Source: Variety]
