Netflix has canceled Greg Daniels and Mike Judge’s adult animated comedy “Bad Crimes” mid-production with the project to be shopped around.
The series has been described as a dark comedy procedural following Kara (Nicole Byer) and Jennie (Lauren Lapkus), two FBI agents who travel across the country to solve grisly crimes while juggling their friendship, career ambitions, and as many men as possible.
Nicole Silverberg created the series and executive produces alongside Daniels, Judge, Byer, Lapkus, Erica Hayes and Dustin Davis.
Netflix has chopped several animated projects this year including an adaptation of the “Bone” comic series, and the Ava DuVernay series “Wings of Fire”.
