Along with the “Man of Steel 2” and Batman villain projects news, the new feature piece in THR has revealed a few other key facts in its discussion of the future of DC.
First up, James Gunn is setting up at least one, maybe two, new DC projects on top of his “Peacemaker” Season 2 commitments. Gunn and producer Peter Safran are said to be in talks for a mystery DC movie that Gunn would direct.
Next, a scriptment for “Wonder Woman 3” by Patty Jenkins is expected imminently. In addition, a script for a sequel to next year’s “The Flash” film has already been written by “Aquaman” scribe David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick.
Should “The Flash” do well when it is released June 23rd next year, it could go forward depending upon star Ezra Miller whom Variety reports has pled not guilty today to a felony burglary charge in a Vermont court. Miller faces up to 26 years in prison if convicted of the charges.
