Microsoft and Meta are teaming up to bring Xbox Cloud Gaming (with Game Pass) to the Meta Quest 2 headset.
Revealed during Meta Connect 2022 livestream on Monday, CEO Satya Nadella says when Xbox Cloud Gaming launches on the Meta Quest Store, players will be able to hook up an Xbox controller to a headset.
Users can then play console games from the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate library on a massive 2D virtual screen. In addition, Meta has acquired game development studios Camouflaj (“Republique,” “Iron Man VR”), Armature (“Resident Evil 4 VR”) and Twisted Pixel (“The Maw”).
“Iron Man VR” will be coming to Quest 2 on November 3rd.
