Filmmaker Rian Johnson’s “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” is coming to cinemas.
The film will reportedly debut in approximately 600 theaters across the AMC, Regal and Cinemark cinema chains, on Thanksgiving week. This marks the first time all three chains have carried a Netflix title.
The film will run from November 23rd-29th and comes a month ahead of its debut on the streamer on December 23rd.
Netflix film boss Scott Stuber says in a statement: “We’re excited to offer fans an exclusive sneak preview of Rian’s incredible film. Given the excitement surrounding the premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, we hope fans will enjoy this special theatrical event in celebration of the film’s global debut on Netflix in December.”
In the film, a tech billionaire (Ed Norton) invites his nearest & dearest for a getaway on his private Greek island. It’s not long before someone turns up dead.
Daniel Craig reprises his role of detective Benoit Blanc and is joined this time by the likes of Kathryn Hahn, Ethan Hawke, Edward Norton, Dave Bautista, Kate Hudson, Janelle Monae, Leslie Odom Jr, Jessica Henwick, and Madelyn Cline.
Tickets for the theatrical run go on sale October 10th.
