“Horizon Forbidden West” Gets An Expansion?

Sony Interactive Ent.

An expansion to “Horizon Forbidden West” could be on the way judging by a tweet from “John Wick,” “Bosch” and “The Wire” actor Lance Reddick – a tweet that has since been deleted.

Insider Gaming reports that Reddick, who plays the villain Sylens in the series, apparently tweeted that he was currently “in a session for #HorizonForbiddenWest!” with a photo and video clip of little white dots on his face presumably for performance capture.

Guerrilla Games has done plenty of updating of the base game this year, adding features and tweaking it to run smoother. However they haven’t added any more substantial game content as yet, and have not yet announced anything more is coming be it DLC or the likely eventual PC port.

The first game notably included the expansion pack ‘Frozen Wilds’ which arrived nine months after the base game as well as unlocking a whole new area of the map. Certain entries in the sequel’s data code have led to suggestions such an expansion for the second game could be called ‘Burning Shores’.

“Horizon: Forbidden West” released back in February this year.
