Sony has announced that its adorable platformer “Sackboy: A Big Adventure,” one of its biggest PS5 launch titles in 2020, will be released for PC on October 27th.
The PC version of Sackboy will support 4K 120FPS, 21:9 ultrawide monitors, Nvidia DLSS and VRR. Players who pre-order the game will receive several costumes based on games like “Ghost of Tsushima,” “Days Gone,” “Death Stranding” and “Detroit Become Human”.
The date comes as Sony is aggressively ramping up the number of formerly PlayStation-exclusive game releases coming to PC. “Sackboy” will arrive just over a week after the PC port of the “Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection” hits on October 19th.
A PC port of “Spider-Man: Miles Morales” is also coming to PC later this year, a PC version of “Returnal” is expected to be announced shortly, and we know a PC version of “The Last of Us Part I” is in development.
That leaves only a handful of major PS4/PS5 exclusives that haven’t been announced as making the jump including “Ghost of Tsushima,” “The Last of Us Part II,” “Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection,” “Bloodborne,” “Shadow of the Colossus: Remastered,” “Infamous Second Son,” “Until Dawn,” “Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart,” “The Last Guardian” and this year’s two big exclusives “God of War: Ragnarok” and “Horizon: Forbidden West”.
