FX has officially announced “American Horror Story: New York City” as the title of the upcoming eleventh installment of Ryan Murphy’s long-running horror anthology series.
The new run is currently slated to premiere on Wednesday, October 19th with the first two episodes followed by two episodes each Wednesday for four subsequent weeks.
This season’s cast includes Joe Mantello, Billie Lourd, Zachary Quinto, Russell Tovey, Leslie Grossman, Charlie Carver, Sandra Bernhard, Isaac Powell, Denis O’Hare, and Patti LuPone.
Former regulars and Emmy winners Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters are notably absent from this run. FX reports that the series’ total audience stands at over 1 billion total viewers across its 103 episodes and nine seasons. The anthology series has won 16 Emmys and two Golden Globes.
