New cinema listings for Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” have revealed the film is set to clock in as the second longest Marvel movie to date.
Multiple theaters, including Cineplex and Regal Cinemas, have reportedly listed the film’s runtime as coming in at 161 minutes. That’s nearly a half-hour longer than its 134 minutes-long predecessor and behind only the 181-minute runtime of “Avengers: Endgame” as the longest MCU movie.
Ryan Coogler returns to direct the sequel, which deals with the death of T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman), the introductions of Namor (Tenoch Huerta) and RiRi Williams (Dominique Thorne), and a Wakanda which now finds itself the target of opportunists.
Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, and Winston Duke star in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” which is set for release in cinemas on November 11th.
