HBO has announced a Sunday October 30th premiere date for the second season of Mike White’s social satire/dramedy “The White Lotus”.
The news comes just a couple of days after the series wrapped filming at Sicily’s San Domenico Palace Taormina and at Lumina just off of Cinecitta.
It also follows in the wake of the series scoring the most awards of any show at last weekend’s primetime Emmy Awards.
The new season will follow a similar premise to its predecessor but unfold at a new White Lotus resort in Sicily.
The all-star ensemble includes returnee Jennifer Coolidge along with F. Murray Abraham, Adam DiMarco, Beatrice Grannò, Meghann Fahy, Jon Gries, Tom Hollander, Sabrina Impacciatore, Michael Imperioli, Theo James, Aubrey Plaza, Haley Lu Richardson, Will Sharpe, Simona Tabasco, and Leo Woodall.
