Capcom has confirmed the “Resident Evil 4” remake will also be released for PlayStation 4.
Revealed during the Capcom TGS 2022 Online Program, the publisher confirmed it had been exploring releasing the game on last-gen consoles and a PS4 version is on the way.
More of the game is expected to be shown off at a newly announced Resident Evil Showcase next month.
The remake aims to preserve the tone and style of original 2005 game, while introducing modernized gameplay, a reimagined storyline, and detailed graphics.
The “Resident Evil 4” remake will release on March 24th 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PC and will boast support for PlayStation VR2.
