The “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” trailer debuted online back in May, but before that it was shown a few weeks earlier at the CinemaCon event back in April as part of a screening of “Top Gun: Maverick”.
In addition, a specially recorded intro for the exhibitor presentation was made in which star/producer Tom Cruise and director Christopher McQuarrie were filming a midair action sequence for ‘Dead Reckoning Part Two’.
Well that intro has now gone online and shows Cruise strapped to a Boeing-Stearman biplane and delivering a message to theater owners before McQuarrie flies up alongside and basically gets him to get back to work.
The filming for the scene in the clip takes place over Blyde River Canyon in stunning South Africa, and further filming with biplanes was previously confirmed to also be taking place in Cambridgeshire in the UK.
Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Shea Whigham, Cary Elwes, Esai Morales and Henry Czerny all star in the new films, which will be released July 14th 2023 and June 28th 2024 respectively.
