After many years of seemingly being stuck in development hell, a fourth entry in the “Beverly Hills Cop” franchise is not only finally happening – it actually begins production this week.
Deadline reports that Taylour Paige and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are set to join series star Eddie Murphy in the film, which will be titled “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley” and has been set up at the franchise’s new home at Netflix.
Mark Molloy is directing the project from a script by Will Beall. Murphy will produce along with Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman
