Jeffrey Dean Morgan is set to recur in the fourth season of Amazon Prime Video’s superhero satire “The Boys”.
The casting reunites him with his former “Supernatural” boss Eric Kripke who serves as showrunner on the series.
Details on Morgan’s role are being kept under wraps. It’s the second “Supernatural” reunion on the series following Jensen Ackles’s turn as Solider Boy in the third season.
Morgan currently stars as Negan in AMC’s “The Walking Dead” which kicks off the remainder of its final season run from October 2nd, and will take that character to the spin-off “Dead City” which aims to premiere next year.
Filming on the new season has just begun with Kripke posting the first behind-the-scenes photo from the set.
